LEADERSHIP.
MATTHEW A. GILBERT
Mr. Matthew A. Gilbert brings over twenty (20) years of development experience to Matt Development Company. Mr. Gilbert began his career on a survey crew in Houston, Texas and his dedication, hard work, love and enthusiasm for the industry motivated him to of held almost every role up to Vice President of Corporate development during his career. After spending over 15 years in the civil engineering industry and managing many types of projects from conception to completion on a nationwide level, he transitioned to the corporate side as an owner’s representative. In this continuation of his career, Matthew focused on the entitlement, permitting, design and overall program management portion of the development process. During Mr. Gilbert’s tenure, he has had the opportunity to work on many different categories of projects, ranging in size, cost and complexity for educational facilities (K-12 / Higher Education), emergency medical industry, convenience store with external fuel sales, multi-family residential development, quick service restaurants, drive thru coffee establishments, casual dine in restaurants, auto service and carwash facilities, as well as multiple brand conversions, mergers and acquisition programs and existing facility maintenance.
